Week 1 Blog Assignment
Hello! My name is Danna Dougan. I live in Texas with my husband and our four dogs. In my free time, I like to try new recipes, read romances and thriller novels, thrift, and travel. I have taught many grade levels throughout my 14 years of teaching. I am currently teaching 9th-grade English and Humanities. This is my first class toward getting my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Educational Technology. In taking this class, I hope that I can learn how to enhance my teaching skills with the implementation of meaningful technology and improve student engagement. My goal for the future is to be a curriculum coach or director to help support teachers in creating purposeful and engaging lessons for all of their students.
